The Commissioning of the 1X30MVA Substation in Akwanga.

In 1998, Continental Engineering commissioned one of Nigeria’s most efficient and reliable power substation in Akwanga. This substation was a 132/33 kV substation with a 30MVA power capacity awarded by the Power Holding Company of Nigeria. 
In the commissioning, Continental Engineering did not seize to marvel their inspectors who were very impressed at the careful design and construction of the station. They were impressed at the control precision of the substation as well as the careful attention Continental Engineering Engineers paid to the protection system of the station.

It’s been ten years and Akwanga Substation is still functioning, reliable and as efficient as it has always been.
